Artist Statement:

Fernando DeOliveira – provocative abstract painter presents a new work: A =T+C. He is best known for his dramatic use of color and texture to create his artwork. Color is used to enhance and highlight the texture, which is the soul of his work. They cannot exist without each other. The combination of exactly how much color or texture to use in the formation of his artwork is irrelevant – or is it? The A = T+C Series explores this question. DeOliveira's paintings with different quantities of color and texture allows the audience reflect on his work.
