Artist Statement:

A painting should be a recreation of an event more than an illustration. When fantasy and reality are free to wander in our memory, we can find surprising connections. Still lives, landscapes and figures can arrive at disparate proportions. Many of my paintings are images from my childhood and adult journey through life mixed with a little fantasy and emotion.
